Child Care (2007/08 prices)

The tourist office, your hotel or apartment manager can put you in touch with qualified private baby sitters who provide child care services at any time of the day or night.

The ESF (479 00 02 86; fax 479 00 00 10) has both a nursery, Créche and the Mini-Club Piou Piou at their Montana Soleil and Roc de Péclet Residence locations. The nursery cares for children age 3 to 18 months. Prices are €129 for six half days without meals.. Créche cares for children age 18 months to 3 years. Prices are €129 for six half days without meals.

Mini-Club Bambi, also in Montana Soleil and Roc de Péclet Residence, looks after children age 3 and 4 years old. Children learn to ski as well as play indoor and outdoor games. Prices are €28 for a half day without lunch; €125 for six half days without lunch; and €249 for six full days with lunch. Ask about discounts for three or more children from the same family.

The various ski schools all give children’s lessons for children who are about 4 or 5 years old. Beginners lessons for ages 4 and younger at the ESF are €121 for five half days skiing or snowboarding; and €178 for five full days.
