Snowboarding is allowed on all of the Val Gardena slopes, but boarders will probably be happiest on Piz Sella or the Alpe di Siusi where there is a manmade half pipe off the Laurin chair lift.

There are two boardercross courses: one at Passo Sella (chair lift Grohmann-Cavazes); and the other in the area Comici/Piz Sella (open from the middle of January to the end of the season).

A natural half pipe is near the Sotsaslong lift.
