Mountain Layout Snowboarding
Most snowboarders, based on economics and terrain, tend to spend time at Tignes rather than Val dIsère. However, the drops into the town will thrill any rider. The main problem is the series of flats that sprinkling the upper reaches of the resort that mean walking or hopping along.
There is a snowboard park at the top of the La Daille serviced by the Mont Blanc chairlift.
The snowpark area has recently been reshaped to make freestyling possible even if snow is a little sparse early season.
The snowpark has 2 draglifts; 1 three seater chair lift and 1 rope tow; 1 half pipe; different hips & jumps; 2 quarterpipes that face each other; hand rails; 1 fun box; 1 rainbow; several single or double high and low rails and 1 Boarder Cross for all levels. There's also a recreational area with music and barbeque facilities.
