Après-Ski / Nightlife

Val d’Isère has great nightlife. For après-ski head to Moris Pub, or Dick’s Tea Bar. Check out the various happy hours 4–7 p.m.

For nightlife, Dick’s Tea Bar is the main English-language hangout. Dick’s Tea Bar also has good immediate après-ski with happy hour, videos and then jazz before the disco scene cranks in. New bars in town are the Café Face (photo right) in the Christiania Hotel and St. Hubert Pub under the St. Hubert Hotel. Avoid these places if you are searching for a quiet spot to talk. For a real French disco, try Le Graal which just opened in February 2005. For Scandinavian bars, try Petit Danois or Victors.

Perdrix Blanche is normally packed with a young crowd after skiing and Taverne d’Alsace offers a very rustic bar and quieter après-ski for a slightly older crowd.
