Lift tickets (2007/08 prices)

Tignes has a limited local pass for snowboarders and freeskiers called Snowspace that includes 20 lifts in the southern part of the ski area. It also includes the famous snow park complete with jumps, a halfpipe and a freestyle zone. Lifts for this area cost €25 for a half day and €32 for a full day.

Starting in the 2007/08 season, lift tickets will be in the form of the electronic Smart Card. Also, the new Pass'Tignes program will give five percent discounts on Espace Killy ski passes and on parking fees.

For tickets valid for more than two days a photo is needed. Six- to 21-day tickets are valid for one day of your stay on La Plagne, or Les Arcs ski lifts. The tickets are also good for a day at Trois Vallées and a day at Valmorel, a half-price pass at Sainte Foy and a special price on the San Bernado espace.

Children younger than 5 and seniors age 75 and older ski free.

Note: Insurance is not required but strongly recommended. The fee covers the cost of rescuing you and taking you down off the slopes. The cost is €2.50 per day per person for adults and €2 per day per person for children and seniors.

Some form of identification is required for reduced rate passes (children and senior).
