Les Marmottons in Tignes le Lac (479 06 51 67) and Val Claret (479 06 37 12) accept kids 3–8 years old for a combination of skiing lessons and snowplay in their sizeable outdoor kindergarten. The facilities open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Five half days cost €110; with lunch, €175. Six half days cost €120; with lunch, €198. Five full days cost €185; with lunch, €250. Six full days cost €215; with lunch €290. Equipment rental is €45-€55 extra.The ski school children’s program (479 06 30 28 or 479 06 31 28) accepts those age 4 to 6. Packages cost €107 for six days of three-hour lessons or €170 for six full-day lessons.

ESF (also known as as Ecole de Ski Francais or the French ski school) also has locations in both Tignes le Lac (479 06 30 28) and Val Claret (479 06 31 28). There's Mini-ski for children ages 3-4. There's a two-child per instructor limit. Lessons take place in the children's area from noon to 1:30 p.m. It costs €30 for one day and €171 fpr six days. Both areas have Club des Piou-Piou which accepts children age 4 -12. Five half days (three hours) €126; six half days cost €135. Lunch with the ski instructor is €13.

There are also Competition Worshops that teach children technical skills and racing techniques. It includes videos, slalom training and techniques. The five-day program is €203 and the six-day program is €224.
