Other activities

In recent years St. Johann has pushed hard to expand its recreational activities. The Panoramabad complex features a 50-meter heated pool, a wellness area with sauna and steamrooms, a long water slide to keep kids and the kids-in-us happy, a wading pool and an ice skating rink.

Indoor tennis (63377 or 62625) is now a popular activity.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides cost approximately €14 for two-and-a-half hours at the Hinterkaiser (63325). Horse drawn sleigh rides also leave from St. Johanner Hof (05352/62207), Othmas Krisch (05352/62759).

There is a great lighted toboggan/rodel run from Hochfeld/Hirschberg down the mountain. It is open until midnight everyday, with lifts operating from 7–9:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
