Après-Ski / Nightlife
One of the nice things about skiing here is that the runs drop right into the town which makes starting après-ski very convenient and most people can walk back to their hotels.
Café Rainer has the best tea-time après-ski atmosphere. It kicks into full gear about 3:30 p.m. and carries on until 7 p.m. or so.
The Brewery behind the Hotel Goldener Löwe can be lots of fun.
The recently enlarged Bunny's Pub, (photo left) one of the livelier places to go, is easygoing and casual. This pub is good for après-ski with a happy hour, karaoke and live music later in the night. It is filled with Brits and Aussies.
Max Pub is a fairly lively, open-air bar at the foot of the slopes which is frequented by a young crowd. The music is LOUD. There is karaoke and live music at night.
Chez Paul Bar and Café serves small meals just a short walk from the town center. This pleasant and informal place is slightly yuppified and is more suited for a thirty-something crowd than the disco set.
Michis (photo above) in the Hotel Fischer is also a good place to meet after skiing and for late night revelry..
Crowded House is a hopping disco/dance hall near the Hotel Goldener Löwe. It's a younger hangout for those who like the music turned UP.
