
Cross-Country and snowshoe (2007/08 prices)
The SkiWelt Wilder KaiserBrixental is a cross-country paradise, with approximately 170 km. of tracks that link Söll with Itter, Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, and continue on to St. Johann. And along the connecting track on the 225 km. Koasa-Loipen, cross country skiers can discover even more new and challenging terrain.
In the Brixental the trails link Westendorf with Brixen im Thale and then continue to the end of the valley and Kirchberg 170 km. of circular routes and high altitude tracks with guaranteed snow wind through Brixen im Thale and Kelchsau.
Guided tours are organised for beginners and more advanced skiers. Hire a guide for a multi-day or weekend tour in open terrain featuring superb ascents and unforgettable descents. Trial courses are available for approximately €37; fee for equipment hire €9.
Serious cross-country skiers should ask about the Cross-country package which includes seven nights B&B at a farmhouse with six-days equipment rental and a two-day 4-hour-day cross-country course.
Ski bus service between the resorts is free with the guest card. The local post bus is also available at an added cost.
SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental can offer you even more winter Nordic fun in the form of snowshoeing. Snowshoeing for 5 to 7 people including equipment, snack and transfer costs €48. And Söll has guided snowshoe walks as well.
