Child Care (2007/08 prices)

KinderKaiserland run by the Ski- & Snowboardschule Scheffau (5358 8308, fax: 5358 84708) is a winter adventure park with more than 7,000 square meters of safe skiing terrain for children. It's open from December to Easter, every day from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Unsure if your child is ready for ski instruction? KinderKaiserland offers a 45-minute trial program for children age 2-4 for €20 that runs every day from 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. A one-hour trial program for children age 4-12 that costs €15.

Otherwise, a half day (2 hours) costs €35; three half days are €75; and six half days are €95. One full day (4 hours) costs €45; three days are €100; and six days are €130. A supervised lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m. costs €10.

Ski & Snowboardschule Söll/Hochsöll runs Monti’s Kinderwelt and Monti’s Mini-Club. The ski kindergarten (Monti’s Kinderwelt 5 – 14 Jahre), across the street from the ski school building, takes children from ages 5 to 14 (05333 5454; fax 05333 5556). Prices are similar in the other resorts of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental.

These are the prices for Monti’s Kinderwelt in Söll: Five-day (4 hours per day) cost €138, a three-day program will cost €130, and two-day will cost €100. Additional cost for lunch and supervision is €10 per day.

Monti’s Minis is next to the gondola station for non-skiing kids ages 3-5. A full day of care (9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) including snack and lunch will cost €45; a half day (9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) including snack and lunch is €30. Two hours of care costs €15; two hours with lunch costs €20.
