Mountain Layout — Snowboarding

There is a Burton Super Park on Dachstein glacier and the area is perfect for freeriding and big carving. A massive halfpipe drops from the Galsterbergalm at 2,700 meters of altitude, making it one of the highest in Europe. Together with the halfpipe the resort has created a massive snow park with jumps and hits to keep riders busy for hours. Another halfpipe can be found in the middle of the Planai sector and another at the top of the gondola at Reiteralm.

In the summer this is a good snowboard training spot with riding on the glacier. The halfpipe is open even in June, July, October and November. There is night riding in Rohrmoos on the World Cup run into the stadium.

Boarders gather at the Lärchkogel trail. This is one of the favorite spots for boarders. There are also interesting natural obstacle courses on the Fageralm and at Stoderzinken at opposite ends of the valley.
