Visit Salzburg. The Loden fabric factory in Ramsau gives tours—arrange them in ad-vance by calling 81930. The factory and out-let are only about 10 minutes from Schladming.

Snowshoeing, wildlife watching and horse-drawn sleigh rides are offered by many of Schladming’s smaller surrounding villages. Horse-drawn sleigh rides are available in Ramsau/Dachstein. Ice skating rinks are open in Rohrmoos and Gröbminger Land, and there are public swimming pools in Schladming and Ramsau.

There are also a variety of outback adventures, such as climbing frozen waterfalls or snow covered peaks, with overnight stays in mountain huts or igloos.
