Neustift - Stubaital, Austria

Après-Ski / Nightlife

Austrians love apres-ski and this valley is no different from the rest of the country. Beware, if you have been practicing your drinking with American light beers and shift to the real Austrian stuff, you may feel the effects a bit more quickly.

Stubaital is not one of the party capitals of Austria, however the bars and pubs get packed and there are a few discos and live bands. Dorfpub in the middle of town has bands and is an institution. Nook Bar gets packed. Bierfassl and Aumi’s Pub fill up with locals. The discos, all within walking distance, are the Hully Gully, Nachtkastl and Rumpl. Pick your poison. They open at 9 p.m. or so and don’t start getting packed until nearer to midnight. For the voyeurs, there is a strip and gogo bar that opens at 10 p.m.
