Meribel-Centre

Méribel-Centre now has a Trois Vallées version of the famous and successful Dick’s Tea Bar from Val d’Isère. That spot promises to be hoppin’ just like in Val d’Isère. It will be staying open until 4 a.m. It opens at 9 p.m. and entry is free until 1 a.m. Cocktails before midnight are 2 for 1.

Scott's is an apres-ski gathering spot. It has live music every Wednesday from 10:30 p.m., happy hours every day from 4 to 6 p.m.

Doron Pub (The Pub) is another good apres-ski spot with live music most afternoons and then again starting at 10:30 p.m. This is also a good sports bar.

Barometer, right in the center of town, serves beers, wines and coffees in a more tranquil atmosphere. Plasma TVs are, however, switched on for big games. It is open from 2 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Another late night spot is the Le Loft, Meribel's top nightclub. It is open until 4 a.m. and is the gathering place for the beautiful people who want to see and be seen.

Try Le Poste de Secours claims the spot as the most sophisticated bar in downtown Meribel, with an international beer selection and a cellar of different champagnes. Cocktails range from mojitos to Sex on the Snow.

Jack's Bar, opposite the Olympic Center, claims the resort's largest selection of beers and really cranks up for apres-ski. Bands play most afternoons and in the evenings comedians and comic dress events make for an interesting time.

Meribel-les Allues -- In this small town, just down the hill from Meribel Centre, La Tsaretta is open from 4:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. with a good collection of beers with music several nights a week.

Méribel-Mottaret -- has its sophisticated late-night spot Le Privilege, a cellar disco, for dancing from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Le Rastro Bar, just past the Plattieres lift station, has been featured on British TV as one of the best party spots in Europe. The place rocks with lots of 60s, 70s and 80s music.

Later in the night head to Le Zig Zag for a spot of Jagertee made with real Austrial Stroh Rum.
