Child Care (2007/08 prices)

The tourist office (click here for more information), your hotel or apartment manager can put you in touch with qualified private baby sitters who provide child care services at any time of the day or night.

Méribel has a highly respected child care program. Le Club Saturnins (479 08 66 90) accepts children between 18 months and 3 years. It is associated with the French Ski School and ski lessons are offered to children ready to ski. Le Saturnins costs €22.10–€24.60 for a half day; €43.10 for a full day. A five-day week costs €184.50. Supervised lunch costs €21.50 a day or €102.50 for a five-day week from noon to 2 p.m. A birth certificate is required at time of reservation.

Also associated with the ski school, the Jardin des P’tis Loups accepts ages 3–5 for child care and has a ski playground to encourage beginners. Les P’tits Loups costs €22.60–€25 for a half day; €43 for a full day. A five-day week costs €185.
