Lessons (2007/08 prices)

About 200 teachers are registered in the Megève area. Large ski classes are conducted by schools in Megève, notably the French Ski School (450 21 00 97), Ski School International (450 58 78 88), St. Gervais (450 47 76 08) and Combloux (450 58 60 49).

Group lessons: Five two-and-a-half hour morning lessons will cost €142.

Snowboarding: Five three-hour courses are €142. Six four-hour courses are €252. Six two-an-a-half lessons cost €180.

Private lessons: One to two people cost €39 for one hour. Three to five people cost €50 for one hour. One to five people cost €330 for a full day.

Cross-country instruction costs the same as downhill. There is also the Ecole Freeride (450 93 03 52) that offers lessons for children from 4–12 years individually or in groups (six people maximum).
