Cross-Country and snowshoeing (2007/08 prices)

Two parellel trails take cross country skiers along the resorts 43 km of marked pistes: Plaine d'Arly – 6 km; Cassioz-Praz sur Arly – 8 km; Mont d'Arbois-Encraty – 7km; and La Livraz-Cote 2000 – 22 km. Trails range from beginner level to highly technical trails and are groomed for both classic and skate skiing.

For cross-country skiing, a child under 16 can discover all the resort has to offer for about €4 per day. An adult’s ticket will cost about €6.

Megeve also has 50 km of footpaths suitable for snowshoeing. Compagnie des Guides Megeve offers tours for €24 for a half day or for a night outing; €36 for a full day (2008/09 prices).
