Lodging
When considering an appropriate hotel or apartment in Mayrhofen, keep a few points in mind. First, the number of stars on a property only means youll pay more, and not always get more. Second, price is dictated less by proximity to lifts than by which bank of the Ziller river it sits on. Cross the bridge to the west bank and youll pay lessnot just for lodging but food and drink as well. Third, for peace and quiet at night, avoid the route between Scotland Yard Pub, the Ice Bar and Nikkis. Revellers wander between the bars, then stagger and sing later in the night.
