Lessons (2008/09 prices)

There are four ski schools in Mayrhofen with over 150 instructors to teach all grades of skiers. The Austrian ski method is used on all courses. Competition is tight and prices are within a few euros of each other. The schools are: Ski School Manfred Gager (63800), Ski School Mayrhofen Total (63939), Ski School Mayrhofen 3000 (64015) and Peter Habeler Ski and Alpine School (62829). Most ski schools offer rentals. Your choices for snowboarding lessons: Mayrhofen Total (63939), Ski School Mayrhofen 3000 (64015), Peter Habeler Ski & Alpine School (62829) and Manfred Gager (63800).

These are the private lessons prices at the Peter Habeler Ski and Alpine School (62829). Sunday to Tuesday, for one or two students cost €48 for one hour; €105 for two hours; and €165 for three hours. Wednesday to Saturday, lessons for one or two students cost €48 for one hour ; €96 for two hours; and €150. Each additional person costs €15.

Group Lessons
You’ll pay €58 for one day of lessons, €122 for three days. Six days will amount to €140.

Children’s lessons cost the same as adult group lessons except that lunch is an extra €11 per day.

Snowboarding
Classes cost €39 a day; €92 for three days; €140 for six days. A great way to learn and save money is to join with friends and take private lessons.
