Getting there:

Mayrhofen is nestled in the Ziller valley, about 190 km. from Munich and 170 km. from Salzburg. Rail connections are available, but the most popular way of getting to Mayrhofen is by bus or car. Since the train operates on a single small track, and direct rail service is not available from either airport, passengers must switch to a train or bus at Jenbach.
