Lillehammer's Olympic Park has bobsled rides. Cost is about NOK170 for adults and NOK85 for kids ages 10-11 accompanied by an adult. Minimum age for the bobsled is 10.

There is an excellent 200-meter tobogganing run in Sjusjoen that is open until 9 p.m. each evening. There are also doglsed rides, snowshoeing, ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides and a "Moose Safari."

Lillehammer has one of Norway's most important art museums with more than a thousand works. Maihaugen is Norway's oldest open-air museum founded in 1887. The indoor museum here traces Norwegian history back to 10,000 B.C. The Olympic Museum traces the history of the Olympics. The Road Museum outlines the development of the highway network.
