Lillehammer Region with Hafjell and Kvitfjell, Norway

Getting there:

From Oslo, trains reach Lillehammer in about two-and-a-half hours. They run almost hourly. The Lillehammer train station is only a short walk from almost every hotel in Lillehammer and taxis are easy to find.

Getting to the slopes: Shuttlebuses link Lillehammer with Hafjell with three departures each morning and another five or so during the rest of the day. There is also a bus that links the town with the Nordseter/Susjoen cross-country ski areas. A rental car is required to get to Kvitfjell.

Driving from Oslo is easy. Follow Hwy. E6 all the way to Lillehammer.
