Child Care (2007/08 prices)

Both resorts have a kindergarten. At Hafjell Ski School (+47-61-27-47-35) the kindergarten is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and takes kids ages 2 to 7.

9.30 a.m.-noon: NOK 345
9.30 a.m.-4 p.m: NOK 495
1 p.m.-4 p.m: NOK 345

Day 2 og and following days

Hafjell Ski School also has children`s clubs for various ages (Call for pricing.):
TROLL CLUB For 4-6 years-olds trying skis for the first time. We offer play and fun in the snow on Alpine skis.
KNERTE CLUB For 4-6 year-olds who have skied before and know how to snowplow. Here we put toghether a perfect combination of challenges and learning experiences.
SNOW CLUB For 7-10 year-olds. Groups for both beginners and skiers with some previous experience. Gain confidence in your skiing ability in the Snow Club.
JUNIOR CLUB This club is meant for 11-15 year-olds.Groups for beginners, skiers with some previous experience and intermediate skiers. More instruction and not so much playing.
Better skiing profiency increases your skiing enjoyment and safety !

In Kvitfjell there are private babysitters for about NOK60 an hour.

Kvitfjell Ski School (+47 61 28 36 80) has child-care programs and facilities including Bamsebo, a small cabin dedicated to our youngest skiers. At Bamsebo children can watch movies, play or read a book.

For those of you who like action can sleigh in Bob-landet. Bob-landet is a tool that will teach children how to use safety when sleighing. It is open every day and once a week, during peak season, there will be a sleighing test, where the children will recieve a "sleighing license" and a diploma.

During the peak season children can take part in Miljøvennene, an activity that will educate children about environmental thinking. This acitivity is for free and all children who participate will recieve a button and a painting book.
