Child Care (2008/09 prices)

There are excellent child care centers at the four Arcs. Each center includes outdoor outings such as snow walks, snowsports and indoor activities such arts and crafts, trampolines, videos, etc. A health cer-tificate and BCG vaccine record is required. The prices for the centers are similar and approximate.

Arc 1600: La Cachette (0479 07 70 50; fax 0479 07 74 01) is actually a hotel daycare and gives priority to the its child guests. Children age 4 months and older can take part in the Kids Club open daily (except Saturday) from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Children ages 7-12 have all day skiing with the ESF and dinner.

Arc 1800: The Mini Club at the Residence La Nova runs a nursery for ages 1-2 years old from Sunday to Friday which costs €175 for six half days and €230 for six full days; a childcare center for ages 3-6 from Sunday to Friday which costs €165 for six afternoons. There’s also a Club Aventure with ski lessons for ages 3-8 where price varies according to the age of the child from €260 for six half days and €362 for six full days.

Arc 1950: Cariboo’s club (0479 07 05 57) looks after children ages 9 months to 13 years old. Here's a pdf with complete prices.

Arc 2000: Garderie (tel/fax: 0479 07 64 25) looks after children age 18 months to 6 years from Sunday to Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parents must provide children with snacks. It costs €225 for six-day playgroup, €145 for six half days; €185 for six half days with ski lessons, €320 for six full days.
