The region is proud of their farming heritage. Livestock in this valley still outnumber the inhabitants. Grand Bornand has set up farm visits where they demonstrate their way of life and show Rebochon cheese making.

Ice skating, paragliding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, heliski, ice-climbing, four-wheeling, dogsledding, quad biking, horse-drawn carriage, hiking and Vallee Blanche (skiing/boarding a glacier on Mont Blanc) programs are all available. For more information call the tourism office.
