The 62 km. of scenic cross-country trails in the Grand-Bornand area follow paths through clusters of winter farms and century old chapels. With varied trails in the Valley du Bouchet and Chinaillon, cross-country skiers of all abilities will have plenty of terrain to tackle.
In the Valley du Bouchet, circuits range from 3 to 20 km. in length and are quite scenic, running along the river and farmhouses. The 3-, 5-, 10-, 15- and 20-km. circuits are set for classic and skating styles and lead from the village toward the Bouchet valley. In addition, theres also a 2-1/2-km. beginners run.
Other trails include the 14-km return link circuit with La Clusaz (Confins area) and the 12-km skating training circuit. Skiers can also take a turn in the biathlon stadium (cross country and shooting).
In Chinaillon, beginners can find their own stadium near the village. More experienced skiers can try the 2-, 5-, 8- and 12-km circuits leading out from the old village.
