Lessons (2007/08 prices)

The La Plagne ski schools have 550 instructors available throughout the various village complexes. Prices vary depending on which program and village you select for lessons.

The following prices are for the Ecole du Ski Francais de Champagny en Vanoise (479 55 06 40, fax 479 55 07 55) and are similar to the prices of other ski schools in the area.

Private lessons for skiing, snowboarding, cross country and telemark for one to two people cost €35 per hour. For every month except February, private lessons for five or fewer people cost €95 for two hours; €165 for a half day; and €285 for a full day. For every month except February, private lessons for six to ten people cost €195 for a half day; and €335 for a full day.

Group lessons are for a three-day course from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. cost €107. Lessons for six half days are also €107. Group snowboarding lessons cost €102 for a three-day course and €160 for a six-day course. Cross-country lessons (5-person minimum) costs €90 for five half days.
