Cross-Country

The resort also has 80 km. of excellent cross-country trails. The cross country trails can be found running all along the base of the Alpine ski area from Les Coches to Plan Bois to Les Frasses to Plagne Bellecote to Plagne Centre to Le Fornelet to Plagne Montalbert and Longefoy.

On the Champagny-en-Vanoise side of the range, extensive cross-country skiing is available at Champagny le Haut with trails going into the Parc National de la Vanoise.

Plagne Montalbert and Montchavin-Les Coches also have a few cross-country skiing trails. Plagne Montalbert even has a themed trail where you can learn all there is to know about the mountain environment.

The ESF Champagny en Venoise provides snowhoe tours that cost €15 for two hours and €29 for four hours. There’s also a night tour which includes a tradional meal at the Refuge du Bois that costs €36. Note: There is a minimum of five people to take the tour and these prices do not include the cost of equipment rental.
