The ESF offers so many kindergartens, snow nurseries and clubs for kids and teens that we do not have room to list them all. More than 550 instructors conduct programs that take care of children ranging from 10 weeks to 18 years old. Programs and prices depend on which village you select. Belle Plagne nursery (479 09 06 68) accepts children eighteen months to 6 years. The nursery is closed on Saturday. Their prices are comparable to the other ESF nurseries.

Children ages 18 months to 3 are welcomed at the nursery where they can enjoy themselves with drawing, games and toys, singing, videos and snowplay. One half day is €35; one day without meal is €65; one day with meal is €95; six half days are €151; six days without meals are €225; six days with meals are €340.

Children age 3–6 old have a ski kindergarten called Club Piou Piou. One morn-ing is €49 and one afternoon is €46; six days without meals are €188; six days with meals are €338.

For older children (ages 7-13), the ski school has special programs designed for young skiers. Never-evers can take a course that includes lifts for six days for €237. Six normal lessons will cost €188 for full days, six half days cost €151 for mornings and €135 for afternoons.

Nursery Marie-Christine in Plagne Center (479 09 11 81) takes children age 2-6 for about €40 a day, without meals, or €25 for a half day. (2006/07 prices)

In Plagne Centre, Oxygène École de Ski (479 09 03 99, fax 479 09 20 55) has a snow kindergarten for children ages 3-5 and a kids’ club for children ages 4-12. Each class is limited to 8 to 10 children. Both programs costs €38 for one morning; €161 for six mornings; and €159 for six afternoons. On Fridays children’s groups run until 2:30 p.m.. Children have lunch with the instructor at an altitude restaurant. Lunch costs about €8 – €10 per child.

Also in Plagne Centre, Les P'Tits Bonnets (479 09 00 83) accepts children ages 10 weeks - 3 years old. Reservations are required.

In Montchavin and Les Coches, Clubs Enfants GSE - Le Chat Bleu (479 07 82 82, fax 479 07 80 18) accepts children ages 3-9. It’s open Sunday to Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required. Children have the option of choosing whether or not to take ski lessons. In Club Neige (program without lessons), children have indoor and outdoor activities including videos, sledging and treasure hunts. Club Neige costs €43.50 per day half day /€163 per week with meals; and €60 per day/ €215 per week with meals. Ski Club costs €205 for a week of half-day lessons and meals; and €255 for a week of full-day lessons with meals.
