Getting there:

From the Geneva airport, a bus costs about €60 and a daytime taxi ride costs €110 (€160 at night). The bus from Annecy to La Clusaz costs €10. The train (TGV) from Paris to Annecy takes 3-1/2 hours and costs about €75. A taxi from Annecy to La Clusaz costs about €60.

Alpine skiers and snowboarders will not need a car in La Clusaz, except to get to the one or two out-of-town restaurants or to Manigod, (a small complex of apartments up the valley past Massif de Beauregard). Everything in town is within walking distance.
