There is excellent cross-country in La Clusaz, with 70 km. of prepared trails, Plateau des Confins (1,450 meters) and the Plateau de Beauregard (1,690 meters).
The 52 km. on the Plateau des Confins (4 km. from town) includes 10 circuits ranging in length from 0.5 km. to 10 km. ringing a frozen lake. On the site there are an info center, first-aid station, picnic room, French ski school (ESF), sports shops, hotels, restaurants and parking.
There is also a 7 km.-long trail connecting Plateau des Confins with the 30 km. of trails of Le Grand-Bornand. Confins is accessible by ski-bus or by car.
The 18 km. on the Plateau de Beauregard includes 8 circuits ranging from 1 to 4 km. long, some of which are shared with the downhillers. The plateau is accessible from the village via the Beauregard gondola lift, or by car or shuttle from the Col de La Croix Fry. On site there are a first-aid station, picnic room, ski lessons, sport shops, hotels, restaurants, parking. The area is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
