Mountain Layout — Snowboarding

The Kitzbühelerhorn has received top ratings from European snowboard magazines and holds international competitions. Freestylers, freeriders and alpine snowboarders all have a blast. There is a permanent 450-meter-long boardercross course with almost 300 feet of vertical and 14 obstacles for competition on Brunellenfeld. They also have an excellent 100-meter-long halfpipe.

The Hahnenkamm is also a good area for snowboarders as well as the Pengelstein and Hieslegg where terrain attracts fewer skiers. But most riders stick to the Horn, which is on the opposite side of town and within walking distance.
