Grindelwald

The Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Grindelwald (033-854-1280) runs the Snowli Kid's Club on Bodmi (033-853-2969). The club is open from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and takes care of children age 3 and older. Prices are CHF20 for one morning or one afternoon; CHF50 for a full day including lunch; and CHF20 for a supervised lunch.

The Swiss Ski School has the Bambini program where children ages 3-5 can play in the snow and learn to ski. The program lasts for two hours Monday to Friday. Prices are CHF40 for a half day; CHF120 for three half days; and CHF180 for five half days.

Children age 6 and older can also take ski lessons. Half day prices are the same as for the Bambini program. Full day lessons cost CHF75 for a full day; CHF195 for three days; and CHF275 for five days.

A supervised lunch with the Snowli Club costs CHF20 and a lunch of First with the instructor costs CHF12.

On top of First and Männlichen there are also nurseries that provide hourly or daily care. The Sunshine day-nursery (Mägi Rubi: 079 632 81 78 or Männlichen: 033 853 04 40) on Männlichen Top is on the 1st floor of the Intersport Rent Network building. Children ages 4 weeks to 8 years are welcome. Drinks and small snacks as well as Pampers for babies are free of charge. On request they will shuttle children from the hotel or apartment. It costs CHF 15 for an hour; CHF11 for two hours or more; CHF7 for a supervised lunch. A full day of care including pick-up food and drinks costs CHF68; the five day package costs CHF290.

Wengen
The Playhouse Wengen (033-855-1414) is open from Sunday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children age 18 months or older are welcomed. It costs CHF16 for a one hour trial; 2-5 hours of care cost CHF14 an hour; 6-7.5 hours of care cost CHF13 an hour. Lunch at the Hotel Sunstar costs CHF10. Wengen, with its no-traffic environment, is one of the premier resorts for families with children. It has good nursery slopes and plenty of easy tracks back to the town.

Mürren
The Snowgarden for Children takes little ones from 9:30 a.m.–4 p.m. They provide a pick-up service, lunch and a full day’s care. Lunch is from noon to 1 pm. Call the tourist office for more information.
