Lessons (2007/08 prices)

Ischgl has the largest ski school. Both Galtür and Ischgl teach the Austrian method.

The following prices are for the Schneesport-Akademie Ischgl (05444 5257 or 5404, fax 05444 5752).

Private lessons:
Course times: 09.30am - 11.00am
90 minutes: € 103
each additional person: € 20
after 3 x 90 minutes the price will be reduced by € 10

Course times: 1.30pm - 3.00pm
90 minutes: € 98
each additional person: €20
after 3 x 90 minutes the price will be reduced by € 10

Course times: 9.30am - 12.30pm or 11.15am - 2.15pm
3 hours: € 178
each additional person: € 25
after 3 x 3 hours the price will be reduced by € 10

Course times: 9.30am - 12.00pm and 1.00pm - 3.00pm
4.5 hours: € 218
each additional person: €30
after 3 x 4.5 hours the price will be reduced by € 10

Group lessons have a minimum of 6 people. Lessons start at 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Prices for one day are €49, for three days are €120, and for five days cost €158-€160.

Silvretta Galtür Ski and Snowboard School prices (05443 85 65 or 0664 514 63 41, fax: 05443 85 65):
Private lessons for one hour cost €52;each additional person is €15. A full day (4 hours; Sunday–Tuesday) is €175. Each additional skier costing €19 apiece per day.

Group lessons for skiing for one day are €49; two days, €88; three days, €120; five days €154. Group lessons for a half day are €34; two half days, €67; three half days, €95; five half days €118.

Group lessons for snowboarding for one day are €49; two days, €88; three days, €120; five days €154. Group lessons for a half day are €33; two half days, €67; three half days, €95; five half days €118.

Group lessons for cross-country skiing for three half days (2 hours per day) cost €95.
