Getting there:

Two buses depart Oslo airport on Sunday during the season. The ride is about three hours and costs NOK375. Book in advance (32055030).

From Oslo or Bergen, trains stop at Gol, 30 km. from the resort. There is also regular bus service. Buses from Oslo or Bergen come directly to Hemsedal.

A free shuttlebus takes visitors from their hotels to the slopes. Buses run nine times in the morning and twelve times in the afternoon. The bus to the cross-country ski area leaves twice a day and costs NOK20.

Driving from Oslo is easy. Follow Hwy. R-7 to Gol, then R-52 to Hemsedal. Oslo is 220 km. from the resort. Bergen is 273 km. from the resort.
