Après-Ski / Nightlife

The place for après-ski just off the slopes is the Olden Bar (photo right) in Hotel Olden. It’s normally packed. Otherwise, even on Friday night, this town snoozes until midnight. The Chesery Bar and the Stöckli Bar in the Bernerhof were recommended as the best places to have a beer or drink, but both are very quiet. VIVA in the Hotel Victoria is popular. The Grotte in the Hotel Alpin Nova is a good disco.

The well-heeled enjoy an après-ski drink in the Palace Hotel lounge above the city. Take money if you want to join them. For starters, the Palace disco cover is €6.

After dark there’s a lively crowd and live music at the Chlösterli disco outside town. Also try the GreenGo at the Palace Hotel for dancing.
