Child Care (2008/09 prices)

The Gstaad Tourist Office can help with child care arrangements. Call 033-748-8181. The ski schools all have programs – call 033-744-1865 in Gstaad or 033-748-8160 in Saanen.

In Chateau d’Oex, call Mme. Blati at Les Clematites, 026-924-7351. She takes children from 2 months old. The ski school has children’s lessons, 026-924-6848.

Children also have the option of attending programs at the various ski schools. Gstaad Snowsports (033 744 18 65) has the Snowli Kid's Club and the Swiss Snow League. Classes take place Sunday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Half-day classes are available from 10 a.m. - 11.45 a.m. or 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. One half day costs CHF40; five half days CHF165. One full day costs CHF60; five full days cost CHF250. A supervised lunch costs CHF10.
