Geilo, Norway

Mountain Layout — Snowboarding

Geilo has three terrain parks. Check out the improvements in Fugeleleiken terrain park and Geilolia Snowpark. The Fugeleleiken terrain park, one of Norway's biggest terrain parks, is the home of Northern Europe’s largest half pipe – 5.7 meters high and 150 meters long. It’s been upgraded with new jumps and rails.

The Geilolia Snowpark drops down from the top of the Vestliheisen lift. This snowpark, opened during the 2006/07 season, starts with two jumps of 10-15 metres, one after the other, and then the path splits into two runs. The run to the right is “slope-style”. It starts with two flat rails followed by three 10- to 15-meter jumps. The snow park concludes with another 8-meter flat/down railbox. The area even has a floodlit mogul run for evening skiing.
