Lessons (2007/08 prices)

Flaine excels in ski instruction. There are two schools here: the French Ski School (450 90 81 00) and Ski Ecole International (450 90 84 41). Prices between the two are about the same.

Private lessons cost €38 per hour for one or two skiers.

Group lessons: The ESF guarantees a limit of not more than 9 people. Group lesson prices for six half days of instruction (two hours per day) are €132 for adults; €115 for children age 3–11.

An extended ski school with four hours a day for six days costs €140 for adults, €115 for children age 3–11.
