How to Plan Your Vacation Using SkiSnowboardEurope.com

What's all that information in the green fact box on the resort home page?

In the green fact box on the right-hand side of the resort home page, we provide tourist office information including postal, e-mail and Internet addresses in addition to fax and phone numbers with country codes and regional telephone prefixes: —all of them that we could find.

A few important notes: The resort's country code and telephone prefix is listed in the fact box. We don't list country codes for every number in the resort review because you probably will use local numbers most often while you're at the resort (in the case of restaurants, for instance). Some of the fax and phone numbers we list are for thetourist office; others are for the central reservations office. The Internet address we list is the officially sanctioned one maintained by the resort.

Below the tourist office information, you will find a small country map which is actually a link to a brief introductory page for the country of whichever ski resort you're viewing is located. For example, if you are looking at the Courchevel resort home page, at the bottom of the fact box there will be a small map of France. Click on the map for the brief introduction to France. Introduction pages can have information on anything from national tourist offices, telephone notes, high and low skiing seasons, driving and renting cars to the general atmosphere of the area and it's people and simple recipes.
