Important transportation note: The shuttlebuses that carry you from your hotel to the Parsennbahn, or down to the Jakobshornbahn, ply a route up and down the same one-way street. If you are in Platz and want to take the shuttlebus to the Parsennbahn, go to the main street, Promenade, which is one-way in the opposite direction. Your bus will come down Promenade in a special laneagainst trafficto take you to the lifts. If you logically head down to Talstrasse, you will have to climb back up to Promenade.
Overall, the bus system has been significantly expanded in the past seasons. Nearly all the outlying lodging is now accessible by bus. The entire system, as well as the train between Davos and the outlying villages, is free to those with guest cards.

The most convenient pass to use is the Klosters/Davos Region Pass. It includes the Madrisa area, plus use of the train that runs between Davos and Klosters and as far down the valley as Kublis. It is also good on local buses in Klosters.
Who skis at a discount: There are 10 percent discounts for Region Passes purchased for three days or more before the Christmas season, (Nov. 15Dec. 19).
