Child Care (2008/09 prices)

Crans-Montana has four nurseries which can handle children by the hour, for half days, or all day: the Crans Swiss Ski School (027-485-9370); the Montana Swiss Ski School (027-481-1480); Halte-Garderie P'tits Bouts (027 480 26 58, fax 079 660 76 20); and Fleurs des Champs (027 481 23 67, fax 027 481 23 68).

The Crans Swiss Ski School accepts children ages 3 and older and costs CHF55 for a half day (3 hours) and CHF195 for a week of mornings (18 hours); CHF170 for a week of afternoons (15 hours); and CHF340 for a week of mornings and afternoons (28 hours). A supervised meal and nursery from noon to 2 p.m. costs CHF25. (2007/08 prices)

The Montana Swiss Ski School has a Child Care Center for children 18 months and older

The BibiClub is for children age 3 and older. The SnowliClub is for children age 4-6. Mini-Club and Riders Club (snowboarding) are for children age 7-11. These clubs cost CHF55 for a morning; CHF20 for a meal; a week-long package costs CHF195. And five meals cost CHF75.

Montana Swiss Ski School also has a nursery for children ages 18 months and older in Arnouvaz wich costs CHF30 per hour; CHF120 for a full day; CHF300 for five mornings (3 hours); and five days (5 hours) cost CHF400 and CHF20 for a meal.

Children's lesson prices at both ski schools are similiar to adult prices.

Also try Fleurs des Champs, rte de Fleurs des Champs, Montana which takes children from 3 months to 7 years old, and Halte-Garderie P'tits Bouts, Immeuble Les deux Lacs, 3963 Crans-Montana that takes children from age 2 to 8. P'etits Bouts is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and costs CHF7 per hour and CHF18 for three hours. (2007/08 prices)

Restaurant Arnouva, C.P.45 3963 Crans-Montana (078 655 33 88 or 027 481 29 85, info@amadays.ch) sits in the middle of the ski slopes and provides daycare for children every day from December to April.

Swiss Mountain Sport (027 480 44 66, fax 027 480 44 68, info@sms04.ch) provides child care as well as ski lessons daily from 10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.. The Tom Pouce program is for ages 3 - 6 and Junior Ski and Snowboard is for ages 6-12. Daily lessons are CHF98 (meal included); morning CHF55; or afternoon CHF70. Five full days is €440 (lunch included).
