For a little warm-up, ride the Ariondaz gondola up and do a little carving.

If you prefer snow parks, take either the Ecureuils or the Epicca lift to the Le Plantrey Snowpark, a hectare of tables, rails, a halfpipe and a quarterpipe. There’s even a area for snowskaters.

If freestyle is more your thing, head to the canyons and dunes of Les Verdons. Boarders can have fun discovering the natural jumps and turns. Experts might prefer the area off the Saulire cablecar where they can pop some jumps on the breaks in the slope. Stay to the left on the Creux Trail for a sweet little natural halfpipe.
