Lessons (2008/09 prices)

Courchevel has hundreds of instructors who speak English. You can find 410 of the instructors at the Courchevel 1850 ski school, 110 at the 1650 ski school and and another 180 at Courchevel 1550.

Supreme Ski School (04 79 08 27 87) private lessons are €180 for a two-hour lesson; €450 for six hours. Group lessons for skiing and snowboarding are limited to nine skiers a group and cost €185 for five days (2 hours per day); €220 for six days.

Superclass sessions for carving, steeps, bumps, powder and off-piste (level 4 and up) have a minimum of three skiers and a maximum of six skiers. Lessons begin at 2 p.m. and cost €190 per skier.
