Lessons (2007/08 prices)

Courchevel has hundreds of instructors who speak English. You can find 410 of the instructors at the Courchevel 1850 ski school, 110 at the 1650 ski school and and another 180 at Courchevel 1550.

Supreme Ski School (04 79 08 27 87) private lessons are €110 for a two-hour lesson; €290 for a full day. Group lessons for skiing and snowboarding are limited to nine skiers a group and cost €120 for five days (2 hours per day); €140 for six days.

Discovery off-piste courses and powder hound sessions have a minimum of four skiers and a maximum of eight skiers. Sessions cost €32 for two hours.
