Child Care (2007/08 prices)

The tourist office, your hotel or apartment manager can put you in touch with qualified private baby sitters who provide child care services at any time of the day or night.

Courchevel has six ski schools for children. Children’s lessons are offered by the E.S.F. 1850, E.S.F. 1650, E.S.F. 1550, Ski Academy, Magic in Motion and the Supreme Ski School.

The children’s program for those ages 3–12 costs €150 for five mornings, €105 for five afternoons and €208 for five full days. Lifts are included in these prices. Lunch costs an additional €16–€21.

Two nursery programs for children 18 months and older are available in Courchevel 1850 at Le Village des Enfants (479 08 08 47) and Courchevel 1650 at Les Pitchounets (479 08 33 69). Both are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Prices will be about €25 half day and €60 for a day plus €16 for lunch. Five full-day programs cost €166.
