Regular tours to Venice and other towns are scheduled most days. There is excellent swimmimg, ice skating, bobsledding, World Cup ski races, ice hockey and indoor tennis. An hour of horseback riding (0436-860441) in the snow costs €18. Cortina is also known for the curling championships, but if you'd like to try curling yourself call the Curling Center (338-6604480) for equipment and lessons. The tourist office publishes a list of activities, and the local paper, Il Notiziario di Cortina, provides daily activity summaries in Italian.
