Getting there

We suggest going by car. The nearest airport is Venice, about a two-hour drive. The closest train station is in Calalzo, with a regular bus service to Cortina. Trains from Innsbruck and Munich arrive at Dobbiaco, a 50-minute bus ride from Cortina. A daily bus service also connects Cortina with Venice and takes about four hours. Check with your travel agent, because there are some packages that include meeting incoming skiers at Milan and Venice airports, and busing them directly to Cortina.
