Après-Ski / Nightlife
The immediate après-ski usually consists of having drinks in one of the bars in the center of town. Try the Chamouny, the Brasserie du Rond Point and the Irish Coffee. In spring the outdoor tables in the center of town fill up with skiers. La Cabolée attracts skiers coming down Le Brévent. For basic bars head to the Bumble Bee and Mill Street.

Tres chic is the best way to describe Le Privilege (450 53 29 10) on Rue des Moulins. The interior is an interesting mix of local and African furnishings and the atmosphere is more mellow, attracting a slightly more mature crowd with live accoustic bands. However there are regular DJ nights for people who want to dance.
Nightlife devotees have plenty of choices here besides gambling. Arbat has live music and is hot these days. The Blue is excellent, with occasional live jazz or country & western. Le Péle disco is large, loud and packed with teenagers. One of the main meeting spots for English-speakers is the Choucas Video Bar, which is normally packed, dark and smoky.
The Jeckyll Bar and Restaurant (450 55 99 70) has a widescreen plasma television and a new menu, but still retains its touch of Irish influence. It is located between Hotel Des Aiglons and Restaurant Impossible.
Le Cantina Club (450 53 83 80; photo right) has late nights and a underground music scene that brings in DJs from around the world which makes it a favorite spot for the younger crowd. Above the club is the Le Cantina restaurant which serves authentic Mexican food. BPM Night Club (676 38 25 69) is the place to be if you like your nightlife a little more risque. The club frequently books acts like the Coyote Girls and Chippendales.
Buschwacker (450 90 68 20) open to 4 a.m., is the only nightclub in Argentiere. It has regular DJ nights, a big screen T.V., and pool table.
The new king of nightlife may be Wild Wallabies Bar where the owner whips the British and Scandinavian crowd into a drinking, singing, burping and dancing frenzy.
