The ski schools are excellent for children 4 and older. Few cultures deal with children better than the Italians. Most of the instructors speak enough English to communicate with children.

Scuola Sci Contea di Bormio (0342 911605) provides kindergarten from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Children age 3 and older will be under the care of qualified staff. There's an outdoor park for snowplay and an indoor kindergarten. Your children can also enjoy the new ski-tubing system provided of “tape-roulant”. They also provide supervised lunches as well. A six-day pass for the kindergarten costs €140, a three-day pass is €95, a day costs €35, half-day is €20 and hourly rates are €10. Child care with two hours of ski school is also available for €195 for a six-day program and €135 for a three-day program. Supervised lunch costs €6.
