Child Care (2007/08 prices)

Child care is offered for children three years and older in Bad Gastein (06434-2260) and Bad Hofgastein (06432-6339). The The Snow Sport School Gastein offers ski school lessons as well as a newly created 8,000-meter Kids’ Park in the Angertal.

In Dorfgastein, children age 3 and older who are guests of a Pongi hotel can join the Pongi Children’s Club. Children who do not stay in hotels and guesthouses which are affiliated with the Pongi Club must pay a membership fee. Individual babysitting service is also offered. The Pongi Club member card also gives you a 10% discount on Bambini course at the Ski- und Snowboardschule DORF-AKTIV (0664-2029793). The ski school provides lessons and child care from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for children ages 3 and older. Prices for children ages 3-4 (without the Pongi card) are €40 for a half day; €100 for three half days; €25 for a test day; €160 for three days; and €200 for five days. Please note that these prices include the cost of care, lunch and beverage unless otherwise noted.
